Thank you so much for the fantastic meal you came and cooked for us at the cottage we rented for Clare's Hen party!

We were really impressed with the way you prepared everything there, and that even a butler in the buff didn't put your staff off! The food was divine and the pre-dinner cocktails were great! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and would reccomend you to anyone looking for dinner party catering. Thanks again!

Called at the fox for a birthday celebration last night - 6 adults and 2 children (8 and 10)
Excellent quality of food, service, ambience and facilities for the kids (who hardly had time to eat their dinner they were enjoying themselves so much). Great variety on the menu - it was hard to choose. Will definitely make this a regular from now on - thank you all for a great evening!

Just had our monthly lunch outing. Greeted by a row of beer pumps, we all chose Thwaite's Wainwright IPA. A superb pint! Main courses were first class, excellent gammon and steaks, perfectly cooked. Superb cheese and chutney or sweets followed by coffee and cream. We lingered longer than normal. Definately one to go on the list for a repeat visit.

The best country pub in England.

We called in today, Sunday 30/1/11, for a carvery. The place was very busy but the staff seemed to be coping OK and were very friendly and efficient. Our booked table was soon found and we enjoyed an excellent meal. At £6.95 this was very good value and we will call again.

on behalf of kirton parish council and the 48 senior citizens of the village who joined you for their annual christmas lunch, we would all like to thank you for the warm welcome, superb food and super service. absolutely fantastic all round highly recommended on all fronts. well done to you all.
